Hello Brian, I would be interested why you do not recommend turning on scavenging... Do you have issues ? If yes, could youtell us more about these possible issues ? Thanks, YannBrian Desmond a écrit: The schools of thought I know on scavenging are – never use it, just leave it on, or turn it on periodically for a short while and then turn it off. Personally I usually just leave it on. Your reverse lookup zones should include whatever subnets the DNS servers are authoritative for. If your DCs are the DNS for your organization, then I would have zones that host all of the subnets you have across your organization. Obviously this can be difficult to do, but the easy way out of just creating a zone for 10.0.0.0/8 and letting the subdomains be created automatically is fine. If you’re only authoritative for certain subnets then it wouldn’t be worth defining any other ones on the boxes.
