I'm trying out "Server for NIS" for my UNIX clients. I've come across a couple of usernames that have the first letter capitalized. I want to change the username to all lower case as the obsessive compulsive users are in an uproar. :-)
I tried changing the "User Logon Name" in the "Active Directory Users and Computers" gui. Each time it simply reverted back to using a capital. I then successfully changed the "User Logon Name" using
ADModify.net, however NIS still uses the username with the capital letter. I'm using Win2K3 R2. Any ideas? Thanks, Clif
