Except the servers literally burning down were NOT isolated instances and were directly related to the cheapness of the parts Dell uses. I know every manufacturer has occasional problems but I personally haven't ever experienced anything of that magnitude from HP or Compaq before them but it's not an isolated experience for me with Dell. Anecdotes and all that, but I've always believed you get what you pay for.
