I was thinking about creating an ADM to make the DST registry changes instead
of a startup script suggested in the Microsoft KB.

I found one source that said these registry changes are binary and you can't do this with an ADM file.

Is this correct?

That’s correct…. Microsoft
does not support Binary fields in ADM files..

Although, strangely, the registry.pol file that ADMs write their
changes to do support REG_Binary. Guess the ADM syntax never quite caught up
with that.

That’s correct…. Microsoft does not support Binary fields in ADM
files..
