| I found the problem, somehow the value of
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\Config\Anno
unceFlags in the PDC was set to 10, so I actually did not have any
reliable time source in the network.
All the DC are sync now.
I found a very good paper about Windows Time,
www.mmmug.co.uk/files/216/download.aspx
Thanks everyone

Did you setup the debug of the Windows time service and look at that
log.
What do you get when you type net time /querysntp ?

Make sure your PDC Emulator role is up.
Also Search Microsoft KB for Debugging Windows Time Service, you can
setup registry settings to look at a verbose output of the time service
communications.
I dunno if are using Windows 2000 or 2003, but you can look at the
verbose output in Windows 2000 with the following.
W32tm -v -once
Then try the following in windows 2003
W32tm /config /syncfromflags:DOMHIER
W32tm /config /update
W32tm /resync /rediscover

Subject: [ActiveDir] Time Service problem
Hi All,
When I run Dcdiag I get this error:
Running enterprise tests on : gst.com
Starting test: Intersite
......................... gst.com passed test Intersite
Starting test: FsmoCheck
Warning: DcGetDcName(TIME_SERVER) call failed, error 1355
A Time Server could not be located.
The server holding the PDC role is down.
Warning: DcGetDcName(GOOD_TIME_SERVER_PREFERRED) call failed,
error 1355
A Good Time Server could not be located.
......................... gst.com failed test FsmoCheck
I get that error even if I run DCDIAG in the PDC server.
If I type net time in any computer, even the PDC I always get Could not
locate a time-server.
I can see that the server that is holding the PDC though the AD users
and computer tool. How can I troubleshoot this problem?
How can I verify is this problem is related to DNS conf problems?
Thanks in advance.
Ramon
