DNS servers local resolver config Hi all, A few of us had a conversation regarding DNS earlier today and a few discussion points were raised which I’d to ask for opinions and comments. The first is this: When a DC is configured to also act as a DNS server during dcpromo, why is the local resolver configured to use the loopback address and not the IP address in use on the DC itself? Has anyone experienced issues when using the loopback address and not the actual IP address?
