Hi Chris.
You can edit the adminContextMenu attribute on the "display specifier" for the "computer class". Use Adsiedit.msc and navigate to CN=Computer-Display,CN=409,CN=DisplaySpecifiers,CN=Configuration,DC=...
The attribute is locale dependent... a list of Locale Id's can be found here: http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/reference/lcid-all.mspx (replace 409 with the appropriate one if you don't use an English Windows).
Add a string to the list. If I remember correctly, the syntax is . Example:
10,Remote Desktop,path_to_executable

The executable gets two commandline arguments when fired, the first is the distinguished name of the object which you have right clicked, the second is the name of the objectClass you've clicked ("computer" in this case).

Hello everyone!
Apologies if this has been asked before, but there's no search for the
archives yet.

I would like to be able to customise my context menu in Active Directory
Users and Computers.
For starters, I would like to be able to be able to right click on a
computer icon and have an option to RDP to the machine.

I have seen this:
http://blogs.dirteam.com/blogs/jorge/default.aspx for adding an
Effective PSO option on Server 2008, but am having trouble finding
anything that would be suitable for windows 2003, and i can't find the
command admon on my machine, the DC or the resource kit.

thank you,

Chris
