Ah yes, the Peet's on Walnut & Vine. I have fond memories of going on insanely long training rides (back in my bike racing days) on a cold winter day, then ending the ride in front of that Peet's, downing hot coffee and fattening pastries, chatting with the boys about life and racing...simpler times. Ok, enough reminiscing. Back to work...

Peet's rocks. I'm on a subscription basis with them. Every 2-3 weeks another couple pounds of coffee shows up at the door. Avoids all the difficulties with pushers, dealers, and other unsavory middlemen. Nothing like going directly to the source.
I used to go to the first (and at the time, only) Peet's Coffee Shop in North Berkeley when I was going to school, back before the earth cooled. Not only did I become hooked on coffee, but they had the best datenut-bread-and-cream-cheese sandwhiches...
