Sounds like your basic cheap ISV. They won't make it if they depend on large customers who have a set or are planning to grow them.

Yep - that is what we did.

And I found this humorous: They don't "support" their product under VM's - anyone's VM technology - if there is an issue, we have to reproduce the issue on physical hardware.

The funny part: Their development and support staff use the same VM technology we are using to develop/support their products! :)

LOL - we have an IPAM product that the vendor says they only support it on 32bit platforms (xp or 2003).

It will finally push the software vendors to writing apps that work on x64 OS's. We have a handle full of x86 OS's because the vendor either doesn't support x64, or they say something along the lines of "well it SHOULD work okay on x64, but we've never done it."
