Better change that to EMC for Exchange 2007 before MBS has you write lines on the blackboard. ;-)

Exchange Management Console for 2007 (EMC as was pointed out) runs just
fine on a 64bit Win2k8 (SBS 2008...we ain't got anywhere else to run the
Exchange and PowerShell stuff BUT on that Win 2k8 box).

Where did you read that? If it's a MSFT online property, I'll get them to
fix it during the next document refresh.

And it's Exchange Management Console - EMC.

:-P

I only control the Exchange 2k7 on the Win2k8 itself thus it's full
64bit up there. Not sure if this is still true but in the early months,
to run on Vista 32bit/ 2k7 32bit tools, you had to use the xpsp2 compat
flag.

Where did you read that? If it's a MSFT online property, I'll get them to
fix it during the next document refresh.

And it's Exchange Management Console - EMC.

I'm assuming you mean ESM for 2003 as ESM for 2007 works fine.

EMC always worked on win2k8
I think the issue you are referring to is the earlier issues with
getting the mapi/cdo download package to work on vista/win2k8 due to
mapi32.dll being marked as a system file in those OS'es
This was corrected back in June.

The mapi/cdo download package is a prereq for ESM (exchange 2k3 System
Manager) to work on vista/win2k8.

My apologies, I meant the mapi/cdo download is a prereq for ESM on vista.

ESM(ex2k3) on win2k8 is not supported

Sorry for the misleading post earlier
