I recently upgraded my two domain controllers from Windows 2000 server to 2003. I took the steps outlined in previous posts in prepping the forest AND the domain. Everything went fine, as there were no errors in the Event Viewer, nor have there been any problems in the domain. I have found though, that my IPC$ share is gone. I searched the MS Knowledge base and saw that the reg keys that were mentioned were not even in my registry, on either domain. So I added them, and the share is back. But now if I try to connect to the share via \\server\IPC$ on an XP pro workstation, I get an error saying I don't have the proper credentials, and "Incorrect Function". If I try to connect via a 2000 server machine, I get "Access Denied". I haven't been able to find anything, so I'm hoping someone here has a clue as to what I may be doing wrong. Any ideas?
