Dear All,

I have newly install AD2003R2 server with WSUS 3.0 SP2 and tested the
updates on a couple of win2003 machines and also winxp machines.
Its been working fine

I have configured 2 WSUS policies one for win2003 and the other for winxp
I would like my user intervention for my win2003 servers, and since all
the WINXP are used by our end users i would like a slient installtion of
updates to take place
only if a restart is required it should be prompted not for installation
of the updades
right now when new updates are avaliable to client machines the there is a
yellow icon stating that updates are avaliable and user has to double
click and then select either express or manual and install the updates. so
a user intervention is required

I have the follwoing setting in my WSUS GPO

1) do not display install updates and shutdown option in shutdown windows
dialog box ===> enable
2) configure Automatic Updates with option 4 n install time is 12 noon
3) enable client side targetting ==> enable
4) reschedule automatic updates schedule installation ==> enabled
5) no auto restart with logged on users
6) allow automatic updates immediate installation
7) delay restart for sescheduled installation


Is there any other setting that i have to enable so no user intervention
is required for downloading and installating the updates except for
restart which should be prompted
