| What application you are running on these servers. It's depend on the role, that server is having. Ie. Any DB (SQL,Oracle), Web server (IIS) etc. there are different things to check. First thing is which process is using Max CPU/Memory. What windows level, you servers are having. How much RAM you are using. Which OS you are using.

| Hi Dhiraj,
Do you mean you see this performance issue on all servers on the network. Pls confirm. If you can, then download Spotlite monitoring software from Quest Softwares******Its FREE, as suggest by Joe. Install it on any of the servers seeing the problem. Add the server connection and see the what is causing the performance issue. Hope this helps.

| Aditionally , note that windows 2000 is currently out of support by Microsoft , you should think on update the 2000 servers to 2003 at least
..
Also would be good to get more details about the perfomance issue that you are facing. SPA would be a good start .

| I have been AD performance issues myself especially in sites where MS Exchange is residing. I found that PAL reports are very useful, run AD related performance counters for a day or two and feed them into the PAL, you have a detailed breakdown of all the AD performance counters and alerts if the thresholds are hit. Check it out here:

<http://pal.codeplex.com/>For more info on PAL read these: http://blogs.technet.com/b/askperf/archive/2009/04/10/two-minute-drill-performance-analysis-of-logs-tool-pal.aspx
