Sounds like a roaming profile issues to me... do you have a profile store setup or are user profiles copied randomly as they hit citrix servers?

We've been running outlook via citrix for 10 years or so.... Always on physicals but have run as high as 80 users per server with no resource issues. Works great, rarely any issues. We started running it back in the Metafreame 1.8 days and have it running on Presentation server 4.5 and XenApp 5.0 currently.

We have some of both, and run "about" 20 users per box.

Dave

Is this a virtual or physical server and if so, what's the spec and average number of users per box?

Hi Mohan,

We run Outlook in Citrix and you will find , at least for older versions it disables cached mode. The main problem we had was that if you use an Anti Virus product that runs "in process" (e.g. McAfee 8.5 or older) then each instance of Outlook will use large amounts of memory, and so limit how many users you can get on a single citrix box. Switching to McAfee 8.7 (with the latest patches) helped us a lot.
