HI all,

Last week-end i replaced a domain controller in one of our branch office. I
exported the DHCP database from a Windows 2003 R2 DHCP server and imported
it into a new DC running Windows 2008 R2 server with DHCP.
All looked OK the import went fine (it imported all leases by the way).

Now i am getting a lot of calls from people saying that they lost their
access to Outlook, Shared Folders, sometimes i can ping the machine (NO RDP
though) and sometimes the IP in the DHCP database is different that the IP
in the DNS.
Folks who loose their IP appeared to be those who just have renewed their
lease.
For a test i have logged to a random workstation (not the one having issues)
i ran an ipconfig/release && ipconfig/renew and it went OK, IP config is
correct, dns servers are correct, gateway and subnet mask too.

So would it be a lease issue? Would it help to just delete all leases?
