Here are some things for your consideration

1. How healthy are the domains?

2. Does either of the existing domains constitute an appropriate or neutral namespace for the organisation going forward?

3. Have a consistent, appropriate, and compatible naming standards been used in each domain?

4. How many supplementary services also need to be consolidated, i.e. back-ups, monitoring, software and A/V distribution?

5. Are you also collapsing together to Exchange organisations?

I am looking for information on collapsing two domains (each domain has about 16 DC's (GCs).. Do you recommend building a New Domain and slowly moving everything over to it?
