So I have two forests of a single domain each one, there is a bidirectional
trust in place. after solving some name resolution and routing issues things
are now working but when you go to "My Network Places" they can't see the
remote domain's network as some time ago they used to.

I've been playing with NBTSTAT in some computers but no success.

Any ideas?

Sounds like a WINS issue to me.

You need to have WINS server replicating names between the two forests.

Thanks

Paul

Does MSFT even support NetBEUI anymore? That was a non-routable
broadcast protocol.

Do you mean NetBIOS over TCP/IP?

This, as others have said, does seem to be a WINS issue.
