Hello. I have created several GPOs with my user account. Now when other user try to edit these GPOs, it displays this error:

“Failed to open the Group Policy Object. You may not have the appropriate rights. The system cannot find the path specified”   I don’t know why this is happening because the other user is an administrator and has the proper permissions and delegations.   Am I missing something?   Thanks in advance,   Gustavo Alvarado

Gustavo-

It sounds like the GPO didn’t get created correctly. Have you checked in both AD (under CN=Policies,CN=System) & SYSVOL (\<domain>\sysvol\<domain>\policies)

to ensure that the GUID-named folder for that GPO exists in both locations? That would be the first step. If they are there, then check the permissions on each GUID folder to see if they look similar to other GPOs that are working.

Is your AD and SYSVOL replication working?
