Scenario

Domain 1 is 2008r2 functional level with users and applications.

Domain 2 (recently aquired) is 2008r2 funtional level with users and applications.

Leadership Recently decided to create Domain 3 2016 and was told by vendor to make domain 1+2 AD integrated apps work use admt and sid history.

The issue is domain 3 user account and the password syncs from domain 1+2 user accounts from the domain 3 account so the apps are all happy. 3rd party apps to make that all work until we can migrate domains 1+2 to domain 3 ?

FIM/MIM can't do bidirectional for a given user, though. Third party migration products - e.g. BinaryTree/Quest do have that capability though.

Thanks,

I'm not entirely sure that I follow your description, but the FIM/MIM Synchronization Service can handle the password sync between domains.
