Try this ..

netsh http show iplist

IP addresses present in the IP listen list:

-------------------------------------------

netsh http ad iplisten 127.0.0.1

IP address successfully added

netsh http show iplist

IP addresses present in the IP listen list:

-------------------------------------------

    127.0.0.1

Have you tried querying the service or running the configurator again?

sc query winrm

winrm get winrm/config

winrm enumerate winrm/config/listener

Or maybe an update that caused a hiccup. I have already setup 10 2012r2 dc’s and haven’t ran into this problem.

L Did you install using the RTM spin, or the R2 w/ update spin?

Are you able to redeploy a new machine and try again?

Also, can you post the blogs you referred to as possibly being a bug. I’ve deployed heaps of 2012R2 DCs without an issue, so maybe there is something I need

to be aware of.

Cheers,

Jeremy

I also ran into the same problem two days ago.. I had to use powershell to demote the same DC, then re-promote it. Really odd... Otherwise I keep getting that same error in Server Manager.
All google searches said to add 127.0.0.1 to netsh http
